Simplicity Mode in TLS350

Simplicity Mode in TLS350

In the late 90's and early 2000's VeederRoot's Fuel Management Service program was called Simplicity.
For an ATG to be on this program required that it was programmed to run in a special mode.
This "Simplicity" mode caused the ATG to stop responding to any command other than an inventory request within 30 minutes after any key on the console had been pressed.

According to a VR Tech, this mode can be disabled by going to Setup|Communications|Dialout and clearing D8
The alternative is to cold boot and re-program the TLS350

Found out that flipping SW4 will disable simplicity mode so you can access the programming, but it will stop responding to commands once you flip it back (after 30 min or so)
